Hayden and Koen are certainly becoming more active.  It took multiple attempts,
on different days, with help, to get their 11 month pictures taken.  They simply did
not want to sit still long enough for the camera to focus.  And for the pictures on
the couch, as soon as I sat them down they would lunge forward.  They don't fully
understand the concept of gravity yet.  Thankfully, I caught them each time so no
one fell on their head.

We had a family outing to the Dallas Arboretum with Dana, Craig, and Meredith
(the boys' 2nd cousin).  We were looking forward to getting some great pictures
of the boys in the pumpkin patch.  Sadly, it seemed the boys were a little
overwhelmed and frightened by all the pumpkins.  We still got some pitifully cute
pictures.  Hopefully the psychological scars aren't too severe.
The boys got to try out
their new jogging
stroller.

After the pumpkin patch incident, I decided to buy a pumpkin for the boys so they
could become a little more familiar with the large orange gourd.  They have
enjoyed beating it like a drum, rolling it around, and trying to eat it.

We also enjoyed a family outing to the State Fair of Texas along with some other
JPI employees and families (Thanks JPI!).  Koen and Hayden didn't nap on the
way there like we'd hoped, so they ended up having complete melt downs until
they finally crashed.  But after their nap they had a great time.  We took them for
a ride on the giant Texas Star Ferris Wheel.  Hayden was a little uncertain about
the ride but Koen seemed to enjoy it.
